Bonnie was born and raised in Charleston and has spent her career turning that lifelong familiarity into an advantage for her clients. She lives downtown and focuses her business largely in her own neighborhood, which means she isn't simply selling houses; she's advising clients on streets she walks daily, drainage and flooding patterns she's watched play out over decades, renovation and permitting realities she's navigated herself, and the quiet particulars — which blocks are peaceful, which carriage houses get afternoon sun, which historic district rules will shape a renovation — that only come from actually living the neighborhood rather than studying it. In a market where national brokerages increasingly compete on technology and scale, Bonnie believes the single most valuable thing an agent can offer is genuine local insight, and she has built her entire practice around providing it.

She has been buying and selling real estate for more than 26 years and is widely regarded as a trusted local resource and Charleston expert, a reputation that led to her being featured on Places and Spaces, the lifestyle program airing on NECN (New England Cable News) that tours the Lowcountry's real estate, design, architecture, and community and South of Broad Magazine.

Bonnie understands that a home has to fit the life being lived in it, and she takes particular satisfaction in helping clients see the potential in a property and transform it to suit their needs. She and her husband, a successful commercial real estate developer, have personally renovated seven homes for their own family — hands-on experience that informs the guidance she gives buyers and sellers navigating renovations of their own. Combined with her deep community ties, marketing background, and extensive network of lifelong Charleston connections, her local knowledge helps clients buy or sell their Charleston home with confidence and speed.

Bonnie and her husband have two children and live downtown in Charleston. She is a graduate of Charleston Day School, Porter-Gaud School, and the University of Georgia, and she remains active in the community as a member of the Porter-Gaud Alumni Board, the Charleston Parks Conservancy, the Gibbes Museum, and the Charleston Library Society.
