A downtown Charleston native, Lyles is not only considered a top broker on the peninsula, but a real estate leader for the whole Charleston market. For more than a decade, he has been a top producer, selling more than 200 homes totaling nearly $350 million with William Means. He is now the company's fourth owner.
Well recognized for his local connections and work ethic, Lyles has helped weave William Means into the fabric of Charleston and elevated its business affairs through strategic management and dynamic leadership. He attributes the firm’s successes to its true client-first mentality. Lyles and his wife Katie (owner of local art gallery Meyer Vogl Gallery) are the proud parents of three young children. The couple lives downtown and was recently awarded the Preservation Society’s Carolopolis Award for restoring their historic 1920s-era home.
A graduate of Charleston’s Porter-Gaud School, Lyles attended Southern Methodist University, where he studied economics. He then worked as a financial analyst in New York City before returning home. A firm believer in giving back, Lyles contributes to the MUSC Children’s Hospital with every sale. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Preservation Society of Charleston, a non-profit established in 1920 to preserve Charleston’s diverse neighborhoods and quality of life.
