With a lifelong passion for real estate and a desire to keep learning, Bill Frantz brings more than a decade of luxury real estate experience to William Means. After 12 successful years selling high-end properties in Naples, Florida, Bill and his wife, Jenny, found themselves increasingly drawn to the charm and community of Charleston. Their many visits eventually led them to purchase a home in the I’On neighborhood of Mount Pleasant – an experience that inspired Bill to continue his real estate career in the Lowcountry.
Real estate has always been a central part of Bill’s life as his father was a broker and owned his own firm. Bill earned his real estate license at the age of 18 while attending Miami University in Ohio, later going on to graduate from the University of Akron School of Law. Over the years, he has completed more than 40 personal real estate transactions, giving him a unique perspective as both an agent and a client.
Before transitioning full-time into real estate, Bill enjoyed a successful 29-year career with Sandridge Food Corporation. As part owner and President, he worked closely with Mark Sandridge to grow the company from a regional food manufacturer into a nationally recognized private-label supplier for major brands like Whole Foods, Costco, Publix and Kroger. Bill also led the company’s legal affairs, business acquisitions and divestitures, union contract negotiations and real estate operations – bringing invaluable leadership and strategic expertise to every endeavor.
Bill is equally committed to giving back. He has served as Vice Chair of Akron General Health System and as Board Chair for several nonprofit organizations, including Feeding Medina County, which he co-founded, Northern Ohio Golf Charities, Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens and the Medina County Port Authority.
Bill blends his business acumen, legal background and extensive real estate knowledge to help clients achieve their goals in the Charleston area. Whether you’re buying, selling or simply exploring the area, he would love the opportunity to connect and assist you.

What Do You Think Sets You Apart as An Agent?
With my background as President of a national food manufacturing company, along with being both a lawyer and a CPA, I bring strong negotiation skills and a more analytical approach than most agents. In addition, having personally bought and sold more than 20 properties, I understand the process from the client’s perspective. I don’t believe in pressuring people to make decisions – instead, I guide them to discover what’s truly right for them.
What Is Your Favorite Restaurant in Charleston and Why?
Recently, we had dinner at the bar tables at Sorelle. The bartender and servers were fantastic, and the décor was stunning, with tall ceilings and plenty of natural light streaming through the windows. The food selection was diverse, and everything was prepared beautifully. I really enjoy dining at places that offer excellent service and ambiance – because a great meal is about more than just the food.
What Are Your Favorite Features of Homes and Why?
I’m an architecture enthusiast, and my wife and I have remodeled more than 20 homes. I don’t have a single favorite part of a home – each one is unique, and I truly enjoy discovering what makes every home special.
