The Gibbes will take art to the streets of Charleston this Thursday with a party celebrating the preview opening of Modern Masters from the Ferguson Collection*. Come celebrate the opening of this new collection with us at the Gibbes this Thursday from 7:30 – 10:30. Tickets are available at gibbesmuseum.org. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, an open bar, and heavy hors d’oeuvres crafted by Charleston’s most celebrated chefs.
*The Modern Masters from the Ferguson Collection was selected from the private collection of Ester and James Ferguson. This exhibition includes paintings, sculpture, and works on paper by significant twentieth-century artists such as Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Willem de Kooning, and Robert Rauschenberg.
