Every Saturday through December, enjoy a plethora of fresh produce, prepared/package food, artists, crafts and so much more in the heart of downtown Charleston in Marion Square. Show your support for local farmers and vendors and make some friends along the way. The Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm, so you can stop by for a treat and still make it to your beach day!

Brought to you by the creatives behind Charleston Wine + Food, this summer series runs from June 18th through August 18th, offering a series of hands on experiences and bar takeovers, focusing on Lowcountry cuisine you know and love. Enjoy Charleston’s premier Happy Hour Concert. Celebrating 25 years of Party at the Point, Charleston’s premier happy hour concert takes place every Friday evening from 5 pm to 9pm through July 17th. This family-friendly event features live music, drinks and food on the beachfront.

Celebrate history. 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, as well as the Battle of Sullivan’s Island. To celebrate, the Lowcountry is hosting a series of events, from exhibitions to immersive history reenactments and a 250th celebration cruise!
Annual Sweetgrass Festival. Celebrate the culture and history of the Gullah Geechee people and their love for sweetgrass basket art that originated here in Mount Pleasant. This art form continues to be celebrated throughout the Lowcountry and is a defining characteristic of Charleston art.
