As the temperature starts to drop and the humidity calms down, there are so many ways to get outside and enjoy the crisp fall weather. From pumpkin patches and concerts to festivals, Charleston has something fun for everyone. Check out our list of fall events happening here in the Lowcountry.
 
MOJA Arts Festival. September 25th – October 5th. Enjoy the annual MOJA Arts Festival, a celebration of Black arts and culture, with specific ties to African American and Caribbean legacies. Over this 11-day period, enjoy an array of events from visual arts to classical music, crafts, local cuisines, and more!
 
Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch. September 26th – October 26th. 2025 marks the 29th annual year of the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch. With activities for all ages, enjoy a day full of fall fun on the farm.
 
Isle of Palms Connector Run. October 4th. Join the fight against child abuse in the Lowcountry with this 10k and 5k run through IOP to Mount Pleasant and back. Enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and a post-race festival. All proceeds go directly to local organizations to help prevent child abuse and the healing for those affected.
 
The Fall Tours. October 1st – 31st. Grab your ticket for a Fall Tour, hosted by The Preservation Society of Charleston. Take a tour of some of the grandest homes in Charleston while engaging in detailed stories about the architecture, history, and charm of Charleston.
 
Riverfront Revival. October 10th – 11th. Enjoy two days of music with over 15 different artists live at Riverfront Park, curated by Darius Rucker. An ode to South Carolina, Riverfront Revival promises two days of country music and great vibes from right here in the Lowcountry!
 
Food and Wine Classic Charleston. November 14th – 16th. Enjoy a unique, curated experience at the Food and Wine Classic Charleston. It will be a weekend full of astonishing culinary experiences as world-renowned chefs and winemakers will come together to bring Charleston to life. From a classic southern Oyster Roast to a Southern Living sponsored Lowcountry tailgate, your taste buds are in for an astonishing southern experience.
 
Charleston Literary Festival. November 7th – 16th. Avid book readers will rejoice in this world-class literary festival based here in Charleston, South Carolina. Experience the true power of literacy while engaging in transformative discussions and hearing from some talented authors!
