With thirteen personal moves under her belt, she’s familiar with the buying and selling process firsthand. The renovation of her own homes has aided her in assisting others in their home searches. These experiences enable her to offer suggestions that can turn a house her clients really like into the dream home they’ve been seeking.
A home is typically a person’s largest investment. It takes careful consideration from both a lifestyle and financial viewpoint. In representing her clients, she feels an obligation to listen to their wants and needs and to make sure the buying or selling process is a positive experience.
She’s been in the real estate business for more than 35 years—in Charlotte, NC, and now in Charleston, where she lives in the Old Village with her husband and their pug, Betty Lou. Since becoming a broker in Charleston, she’s enjoyed learning about the critical process and procedure of restoring historic homes that are so important to this city.
She values her role as an “ambassador” of the prettiest city in the country and her associations with the Gibbes Museum of Art and the Board of HEART, an inclusive arts community. She also writes a monthly newsletter with featured homes and news on restaurants, shopping, and local events.
